Yes. Nexa Power is a NAPIT registered installer, which means our engineers can self-certify notifiable work under Part P of the Building Regulations and issue Electrical Installation Certificates. Solar PV and battery installations are completed to MCS standards so customers qualify for the Smart Export Guarantee.

Nexa Power is based in Grays, Essex and works across Essex, Kent, London and Surrey, including Thurrock, Basildon, Chelmsford, Dartford, Gravesend, Maidstone, Bromley and Lewisham. Larger commercial and solar projects are taken on across the wider South East.

There is no call-out fee for work we have quoted. For fault finding we charge a fixed first-hour diagnostic fee which is agreed on the phone before we attend and includes minor repairs where possible.

A typical 4 kWp solar PV system for a UK home costs between £5,500 and £8,000 installed, with a 5 to 10 kWh battery adding roughly £3,000 to £5,000. Solar and battery installations are zero-rated for VAT until 2027.

Yes. Landlords in England must hold a satisfactory Electrical Installation Condition Report renewed at least every five years, and employers must maintain electrical systems safely under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, which is normally evidenced by a periodic EICR.

Renters and flat owners can claim up to £350 through the EV chargepoint grant, and businesses and landlords can claim through the Workplace Charging Scheme. Nexa Power is an OZEV-authorised installer and can apply on your behalf.

Yes. Nexa Power holds £5 million public liability insurance and employer's liability insurance, and all work is covered by the NAPIT and MCS consumer protection schemes.

Domestic work is invoiced on completion and payable within seven days by bank transfer or card. Solar and larger projects are staged, typically a deposit on order, a payment on installation and the balance on commissioning. Commercial accounts can be set up on 30-day terms.
